Our history
iSmile was a dream
iSmile is born from a vision Doctor Barbara had of having a dental clinic where she could attend to her patients in a friendly and cozy environment and offer them the best treatment options with a team of highly competent colleagues.
iSmile is known for its personalized service where we will listen to and understand your reasons for coming to see us. From there we will develop a specific treatment plan for you in order to reach the best esthetic and functional results.
At iSmile we want you to smile with absolute confidence and that this esthetic objective becomes the visible part of the main priority of our team: your oral health.
THE CLINIC
We offer orthodontic treatments with Invisalign (aligner system that corrects bites and improves smiles in a comfortable way) as well as traditional braces, teeth whitening, preventive check ups, routine cleaning and fluoride treatment, tooth extractions and implants, and general dentistry for patients all ages.
We have intraoral scanners and X-ray equipment in order to have an immediate and precise diagnosis.
Our office is right between Las Condes and Lo Barnechea, near Mall Sport, in a modern tower just off the Costanera Norte speedway…iin other words easily accessible.

I am Bárbara Fernández Lübbert
Orthodontics Specialist - Founder of iSmile
I have 20 years experience treating patients of all ages. After living in the US, Brazil and Belgium, I studied Dentistry and then Orthodontics at Universidad de Chile and have been working in Santiago ever since.
Through the years I’ve been specializing in different Orthodontic techniques in order to offer the best treatments for my patients. Because of my vast experience in invisible orthodontics I am treating most of my patients with Invisalign.
I am a member of SORTCH (Chilean Orthodontic Association), CNO (National Dentistry Coop), Colegio de Dentistas de Chile and I also work as an interpreter in orthodontic conferences and courses.
I love treating patients of all ages and my living abroad allows me to speak to them in Spanish, Portuguese or English.
My mission is that my patients can smile with confidence and to give them health and esthetics with Orthodontics.
I am Heidi Franz Ruiz
Orthodontist
Originally from the South of Chile, I studied Dentistry in Santiago at Universidad del Desarrollo and then Orthodontics at Universidad Católica.
I also have degrees in Occlusion from UDD and Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics from Universidad Mayor. I am a member of SORTCH (Chilean Orthodontic Association) and Colegio de Dentistas de Chile.
Together with Barbara, we make up the Ortho team at iSmile treating patients of all ages.
I am Arnaud Valette Cuchet
TMJ and Orofacial Pain Specialist
I am a Dentist and TMJ and Orofacial Pain specialist from Universidad de los Andes.
I treat patients of all ages and many from the French Community in Santiago.
I am part of the iSmile team and focus on patients who suffer from TMJ and muscular pain, migraines and bruxism.
My treatment strategies include dental guards/ splints, orofacial exercises, TMJ infiltrations, Botox and homeopathy.
I am Carolina Jopia Palacios
Pediatric Dentist
I received my Dental degree from Universidad Finis Terrae and in Pediatric Dentistry at Universidad Mayor, both in Santiago.
I also studied Esthetic Dentistry at Universidad Finis Terrae and teach at Universidad de Chile and Universidad Autónoma. And I also work in the Pediatric Dental ER at Hospital Exequiel González Cortés.
At iSmile I am in charge of the oral health of children and teens. My goal is to respect their adaptation process in the dental chair and to promote preventive actions at home.
My purpose is not only to give my patients a positive experience at every visit, but also to teach them how to care for their oral health in a more entertaining way.
I am David Torres Ibieta
Dental Implants Specialist
I studied Dentistry and Specialized in Implants and Surgery at Universidad San Sebastian in Santiago.
I also have a degree from Universidad Católica of Murcia in Digital Implants and teach at Universidad Diego Portales and San Sebastian.
At iSmile I treat patients with dental implants and perform simple and complex extractions.
I am Maria Luisa Cortes Strahovsky
Business Engineer
I am in charge of welcoming all our patients at iSmile, whether it be at the office or online, and help them start out with their treatments and clarify any doubts they may have, in English or Spanish.
I am also a part of the administrative part of the clinic.
